Report Grouping

Hi,

I am quite new with designing reports.
Is there a way of grouping a report based o n 3 separate dates?
For example I have somebody who owes me money and will be paid in 3 different installments (i.e 1st on 17.Jan 06, 2nd on 15th May and last on 5 July)

So I want the report to show under Jan 06 USD 10.000 together
with all other payments from other transactions which are due in january,
the second payment should be grouped into the payments expected in May and the third payment should be grouped into July with payments from other
transactions due in July.

And last I would use a criteria to select the dates I want to see, ie.
From Jan 06 to Dec. 06, but I think I am able to do this bit.

If this is possible can anyone help me how do I go about it, pls.

use the report wizard when setting up report it will let you sort report by up to 4 groupings

use a query to show report by dates. Create your report based on that query
