Hi I am in need of help again.. Want to thank Ghudson for his help previously.

Now I am stuck in a stupid problem.

I have a log out button, but I cannot code up the button, where when I want to log out, it will automatically saves the record in a temporary database[auto generated] and it will date the database record on the day that i save.

It appears that you are not using any logon code in the DB that you attached. So my question is, do you want/need to know 'who' logged on & off and when?

Or, what do you really need.

My 2 1/2 cents request.

What exactly are you trying to do when the db is closed?

Why are you trying to do that?

So sorry for the late replys..

I wanted to have a db where I log out of the app, it will automatically create a temp db which stores the data for that current day.

I dont know if thats possible to be done??

Why?

What a mess of db files that would create and they would not be reliable. If you want to backup your db then search the forum for the keyword BACKUP or the keyword WINZIP and you will find some good examples on how to do it.
