My memory is getting weaker, I seem to recall that I can use the value
from a form to 'answer' a queries criteria and open a report in print preview.

Bascially I have a Quotation number on the form and want to
use that number from the one being viewed and when I click
the button for Print Preview of the report, the Query that is
part of the report will be answered via the number that was
in view on the form.

But I can't seem to get there, please help a failing memory
this is in Access 2003

Much thanks,
G2

In the criteria section of your query for the Quotation No enter:

[Forms]![FormName]![FieldName]

FormName would be the name of the form
FieldName would be the name of the field you want to base the query results on (QuotationNo)

Sum Guy, thanks very much, that worked fine!

Is there a way to also do this by using the ME command, instead of
making several queries and reports that have the various report forms
in it?

so that when you click on the button to print the report, it would
Filter the report by way of the field you were using at that time?
