I have a report that previews and prints correctly for myself.

When one of my users previews the report and prints it, it prints out just over the page width. So the 2nd page is blank (except the very edge of the line) and the 4th page, etc.

This is from the same database, and the same report.

The user is pointed at a different printer, so I suppose this is the cause of the error. Is there any easy way to fix this (change anything on the user's settings) or should I just redesign the report to fit the user's screen correctly?

Thank you for your help.

Why is it that different printers print Access reports with different margins? Shouldn't a .25" margin (or whatever) be the same regardless of what driver is being used?

However, minimum margins are defined by the print driver. If your report used wider margins, it would probably be fine. If the margins are too small for a particular printer, the driver will alter them on the fly.

I thought of that one. I have found that some controls need to be widened in order to display all the text (even labels!) for some printers.

One more thing - if you are using A2K, this could be related to bugs caused by the name auto correct "feature". Turn it off and make sure you have the latest service pack installed.

I'm aware of that nuisance...it's certainly caused enough headaches in the past!
