Report shows more than expected

I have a report based on a Single table select query, which has a function in the criteria to obtain the customer number. the query runs fine alone. eg selecting the right record for the number and displaying the name and town...however when i open the report it runs on..That is it displays more than one record and if for instance i select customer number 1 the report repeats the same details below saying customer number 2, 3 etc.
is there a setting like "Single Form" for reports or something?

It is ok the Filter on was set to no.

With only the filter everyone comes up as no1???
Any ideas what iv'e done.
