Hi All:

long time no thread! Running Access 2003.

I have a report with group headings that starts each group on a new page and pages are numbered.

How can I create a table of contents showing group heading and page number for each group?

thanks!

Will each group be on the same page each time? If so what I like to do is add a Report header and in the report header choose force new page after section. This way your report header can be a cover page or table of contents.

Ok.. I searched the posts and found the MS article about creating the TOC using functions.
I'm now getting an error when I move to the last page of the report (447 pages) It reads "Error 3163. The field is too small to accept the amount on data you attempted to add".

Any ideas? When I look at the TOC table, I see it added a bunch of records but it stops short of the actual number of records it should have.

Keith:
I already have the force new page and the group header repeats on every page

I get an error message stating that I can not open the zipped file. Can you recompress the file and repost?
