Report trouble

I have a report which summaries the sales by each saleman of the various items on each invoice.

I have a calculated field in a Group footer to work out the amount of profit made on each item in each invoice.

I am trying to work out the "Total Profit" made by each salesman.

i.e. Adding all the profit totals for each of the Items together

Can't get it to work. any help would be great

You neeed to group by one more field, namely the salesman...if you want you can skip entering fields into the footer if you dont want to change the report. All you have to do is add a =SUM([YourField]) in the footer of this group.

Yeah I though so, but I have added sales man as a group and still get the wrong total???
