Report using VB (1 Viewer)

I would like to create a report based of a crosstab query- the report takes in all fields on the query. But the fields will change. So it seems to me that I need to write the SQL to make the report grab all the fields and do what it does. But I do not know where to start. So if someone can give me suggestions that would be great.
