I have moved an excel wksht to access and done the whole table/form/query thing. I'm trying to print a report from a query. When it was excel, I printed my report landscape on legal. In access it wont't fit, and I have eliminated alot of info. Anyway to make it fit? I have made all margins/font everything to the smallest, still wont fit. HELP?

you said the font was the smallest. exactly what point are you using 6? 7? i have been successful using 7 when i have a lot of information to report on.

when you say it doesn't fit, do you mean it won't fit on one page or can it be a multiple page report. access specifications allow for a maximum of 22 inches in width per report. so, if you are needing more than 22 inches; you can do it by designing 2 reports from your query instead of one. all of the information that "won't fit" can go on the second page/report.

Thank you for the info, I'm going to try that now. I have made the font 8 which is the smallest for my computer. This report has 31 columns in excel. I'm trying to shorten it, but need most of them. Is there a way to just print from the query, and make it fit? Thanks

just key in 7 to change your font size. the drop down only shows 8 but you can make it smaller by typing in the number you want.

yes, you can just print out your query results by clicking the print button

or, if access is giving you that much trouble you can always copy the results into an excel spreadsheet and format it the way you like there...kind of defeats the purpose of using access to begin with but, it will get you where you want to go
