report wont open!!

i have multiple reports that just wont open.

i have tried calling them from a form, calling them from a switchboard, not even clicking on them in the navigation pane works.

the only way i can get them to open is going into design view and then switching to report view.

I've read this like 3 times and I'm trying to understand...
Are you talking about FORMS or REPORTS, because these are not the same objects in Access.
Please Clarify

Check in design view for your record source for at least ONE of the reports that aren't working. Look into any and all filters, Property Events or Macros. Compare a malfunctioning report with a working report and note the differences you may find. If you find something that you want to change, FIRST MAKE A COPY of the report (and the underlying query if necessary, making sure that the copy of the report uses the copy of the query to prevent further damage and allow for multiple troubleshooting). BACKUP the DATABASE before making changes so that you can recover if needed.
