I see from the archives that his has been well worn topic!

However, I have been unable to find a specific solution to my problem and would be grateful if the list would care to comment.

I need to export an address list as ASCII text in the format:

field1 field2 field3
field4 field5 field6
field7
field8
field9
field10

Because this is an address, fields 8&9 are often empty. My problem is that the application that will use the data expects a six line address regardless of how many fields are complete.

Since moving from Paradox to Access (97 sr2) I have been unable to solve this one.
