Requery Question

Hello all,

I am trying to build a form which will allow a user to a enter data and once the data is entered the User would click a button and the query the form is attached to will have the filtered data. Example: The User enters a User ID and then presses enter. The query will take the data from the form and filter all info in relation to User ID entered. Are there any examples out there i am able to learn from?
