Required field not alert me!

I have a table that has 3 field
sl (auto number)(PK)
Name tran (Text)
Amount (Currency) (R)

I have set the Amount field as Required. I have created a form of this table.
But when i entry data and leave the filed amount. It's not show any alert. It has give the chance to save a record!

Would any one give me suggestion or help? please

That's because you've given the field a default value of 0, which is a valid entry.
