Restricting DB Access

Entry level questions contd. - restricting DB access

RESTRICT ACCESS TO ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF THE SWITCHBOARD
I see I can put a password on the DB and/or setup user accounts each with passwords and retrictions (including "Administration"). Still, how do I stop them from accessing anything outside of my custom Switchboard? I don't want them to be able to access the regular Access menu options and see the model, create reports etc.

No matter what I try they still seem to be able to hit the SHIFT key while logging in and going to the regular Access menu options

Do a search or look in the sample database forum and you will find examples that have been posted for disabling the shift key and if you do a search for the user ghudson, who posted code to hide all of the toolbars.


Do a search for the following keywords : toolbar,disable shift key,hide toolbars.
