Result from 1 control on a form to automatically fill in another control

G'day. I have a form where I want users to select a town or suburb using a combo box. I then want the State to automatically display in another control, and the Post Code to display in a third control - without user intervention. I'm self-taught, and tried all the help topics that I can, but nothing seems to be clear - or work! I've created a seperate table with the Suburb/Town & State & Post Codes as fields. but still can't get anywhere.

Take a look at the attachment I posted here.
You will need to replace client with town/suburb and the phone numbers etc with the state and postcodes but the principle is the same.
