retreaving printer information

I created a database a couple of years ago; I don't use it much but want to start using it again. It was created before I upgraded my whole computer and printer. Now when I try to view the report it says "there was an error retrieving printer information for this object, the object may have been sent to a printer that is unavailable."
If I highlight the report and hit >file>print it says "the printer could not be found" you hit ok and then the printer box comes up with the current printer and you can print it. But I can't just view the report or make a new one. How can I fix this?

Did you set the printer to default or a specific printer?

YOu mean in windows or in access. I have one printer it is default in windows. I don't know how to set one in access. By the way I uninstalled office xp and put 2000 back on and it works. I put xp back and left office 2000access and it will work for it but not office xp.??????????
