I am creating a messaging system on my database that will utilize DOS to send a message to someone over the network. I use Call Shell("Net Send etc.). The only thing that makes this subpar to doing it directly in DOS is the fact that it doesn't tell you whether the message was successfully sent. Is there anyway to return the string from DOS that states it was sent successfully to a msgbox in access?
