Can the file tab be completely hide, or only its buttons can be hide?

Thank you. Yes i did research, though through dr. Google....
So my findings were kind of inconsistent. Hiding File Tab revealed mostly how to hide controls but not the whole tab. Only one site said it is impossible to hide it completely. I just wanted to double check with the request.

Did you see my screenshot and code to remove all items from the File tab?

Very odd to have answered four separate posts on this subjects in a few days...
