Rows numbers???

Hi guys!

I’m trying to do very simple thing, in a Report or a Form opposite every new field put row number. For example:

(row number) (data)

1. Book1
2. Book2
3. Book3
etc

I'm sure it's necessary in any database, so any solutions are welcome!

It's while storing data...but sometimes viewing using Query
