RTF export losing grouping

I have a report that previews and prints perfectly, with several levels of grouping. However, when I export the report in .rtf format, the top most level of grouping is excluded totally.

This top level was added to the report at a later date, not at initial creation, if that makes a difference!

Can anyone help me please?

You don't say what version of Access your using.

I used A97 for exporting a huge rtf file with almost 200 subreports. If often came out garbled.

Merely abandoning 97 and going to 2K cured that problem without any other changes.

I am using Access 2000 SP3.
