looking at everyone else questions makes me feel dum.

i am having a problem setting a condition for how long a macro will run

1 macro opens a form then calls the second macro.

the condition is [Forms]![Count_duplicates]![CAB ID]>[IsNull] seems that isnotnull is not working as well

use the condition:

Trim([Forms]![Count_duplicates]![CAB ID] & "") <> ""

ok great it runs

but it is not stopping

i said before Criteria, this is wrong, i actually need it for repeat expression or repeat macro?

unless you tell us what your macro is supposed to do and to what condition will it stop, i cannot answer your question.

there is no form nor a macro on the db.

if your goal is just to delete duplicates.
i made a query just for this (query1).

ok

some thing very new to me, i am not sure how that works or how "min" works like that in a query.

but it still leaves me not knowing how to get a macro to stop. not in this instance but i do a lot of setvalue stuff with macros.
