I want to run an update query when the user closes a form. Which event would I put that in? Close? Deactivate? Unload? Something else?

Thanks.

there is probably little difference practically, so it shouldn't matter. without checking, i think unload is cancellable - so that probably isn't quite the best choice.

This a most odd sceanrio, and I have to ask WHY? What exactly are you trying to do here?
