Running Amended Queries

After making some mistakes in a query, I corrected the mistakes, saved the query, but the query still did not work properly. To prove I'd done it properly, I recreated the query from fresh and ran it - it worked! Does this mean you can't amend an existing query?

You can definately amend a query.

There must be a small difference between your amended query and the new one.

Thanks for your reply. Having looked at the SQL running the queries, there is, of course, a small difference between the two of them. The first query was not written by myself. Interestingly, the two queries do look exactly the same on the QBE screen, the diiferences are only seen after looking at the SQL code.
