I have a sub report which contains two fields - a calculated field and the same calculated field that is set as a running sum over group. These fields are in a group header, not the detail section.
The sub report is working fine and displaying exactly what I want. The problem is that the main report SOMETIME picks up the correct number for the running sum field and sometimes only picks up the last value of the calculation rather than the sum.

where fielda = a/b
fieldb = a/b set as
a running sum
field a field b
1 1
2 3
1 4
3 7
I need my main report to always pick up the
value of the final running sum field - ie in this case, 7. Sometimes though, it picks up 3 instead. To make matters even weirder, this seems to be a periodic problem. I can run the report now and it will be one way - then without changing data or criteria, I can run it again and it is the other way. HELP!
