runtime error 2596

Hello,

I have just compacted (access2000) a database that was working fine, and now I receive this error message:

run time error 2596

Printer object is not available on subforms and subreports

It does break on code in the subform, but i'm not trying to print from that subform, nor even able to. The only changes i have made since it was working are aesthetic.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried re-booting ?

Thanks for the thought Rich, and i have, to no avail. The main form works fine without the subform in it, and the subform gets the same error if i try to open it on its own. I'm just going to go back to an older version of the database and copy a working copy of the subform.
It just worries me i don't know why or how, and so it might happen again - but then again that's often my reality with Access!
