Save data entered in Unbound Text Box

Hi, I have a form with some vertical unbound text boxes, they are table headings for my data, but they need to be editable. I can enter data in them perfectly but once you close the form the data is lost. I would like the data to be saved on the form. I have tried turning them to labels but then they are not editable.
What should I try next?

if they are unbound, then they are not saved anywhere, just set in code. so where do you want/need to save them?

hmm, ok, they are labels or headings for a table i've created, and they need to be editable but not recorded on any table or anything.

Hi, I thought I was being clear. They are headings on a form. They need to be editable. I don't work till next monday, so I can't attach at the moment, but on Monday I can attach it for you to show you if I am not being clear enough/using the right terminology.

Am sorry to say this, but it is not clear enough.. Forms are not capable of storing data, only tables are.. Any information that needs to be stored and editable then its place is in table.. However, if you only want the information to be displayed based on some other field.. Then this need not be stored, but can be manipulated by code..
