Sent Email dir is created if not already exists and email is saved. I picked up that email is save in the before send status.
Is there a possibility to save it after I send the message, I know focus shift to Outlook to actually send the email.

can you just "manually" save it from Outlook?

Arnelgp
I thought about it, but due to the volume of emails send will make it time consuming.

That's why I thought there might be away to automate the action.

The link refer to export a list of send email.
I try to save a email that was already send.

Like in Outlook one send the email and that email is then transferred to the send box. That is the email tried to save.
And you cannot tailor it to just export the one?

Before I tried this as I never placed code in Outlook and is new to me.

Will this code in ThisOutlookSession only be linked to emails I send from access DB or all so emails send outside the DB

I only posted it for the logic. So you control Outlook the same way you send the email? :(

Yes
But sending Amendment emails, see posts above, from the db the email addresses, subjectline and email body is pulled through to Outlook, so it's just a matter of click send.
The email is then saved to the client's sent email subdirectory but in still to send status.

But the fact that db lost focus when Outlook opened, and i do not know how to save that send email to the client sent email subdirectory.

I did look at your and Arnelgp post regarding the Outlook code and will try it. I am just afraid I will messed up Outlook.

Below is the path and don't know if that is possible to ThisOutlookSession in Outlook.
Code:
.SaveAs "\\JK_Server-PC\Users\JK_Server\My Documents\JKBrokers\Clients\PersonalClients\" & Forms!ClientInformation.LastName & " " & Forms!ClientInformation.Initials & " " & Forms!ClientInformation.Title & "_" & Forms!ClientInformation.ClientNr & "\Sent Emails\" & Me.Amendment_nr & "_" & Format$(Now(), "dd_mm_yyyy_hh_nn_ss") & ".msg", OlSaveAsType.olMSG

You do NOT put it in OutlookSession unless you are putting the code in Outlook, which you should not be doing.
You put the code in Access wherever you have the rest of the code.

As you are passing the DB privately between you and Arnel, I will leave him to explain/implement it.
