Save report pages without preview

I have a report that provides report card performance information for 245 vendors. An array in a module sends each page of the report (By vendor name) as an RTF file to a specified folder. In this module the report is opened and each report (page) is viewed (DoCmd.OpenReport "Report Card YTD", acViewPreview, , strSQL) and then sent to the folder. This process takes about twenty minutes during which the machine is tied up viewing pages flash by. Is there a way for the reports to be sent in the background, not viewed, and the computer available for other tasks while the reports are being saved?

OK. After 22 views with no response I'm guessing that I've finally bumped into a limitation of Access with no resolution. The client will jusdt have to watch the reports (pages) fly by.
