I am developing a database in A2007 for a customer who only has A2003. I have split the database in 2007 but when I try to save it as 2003 I get "You cannot save this database in an earlier version format, because it uses features that require the current file format". Any suggestions?

I just solved this myself as follows:
* Open the 2007 back end and save as 2003
* Open the 2007 front end, go to Database Tools and open the Linked Table Manager
* Check 'Always prompt for new location'
* Click 'Select All' & then OK
* Navigate to the 2003 back end & click 'Open' - the FE/BE links will be updated
* Close the Linked Table Manager & the database
* Re-open the 2007 front end and now save as 2003

Yeah, you shouldn't have developed it in 2007 format first.

So, create a new, blank 2002-2003 file format database and then IMPORT everything into it from your 2007 frontend. It SHOULD exclude 2007 specific features and you can then fix any problems later. Hopefully you didn't use any 2007 features that your program can't do without.

Or, you can have the users install the 2007 Runtime so they can use your current file as is.
