SaveAs saving picture as TIFF

Hello all,

I have a button that saves a picture to file with a .bmp extension, when I go to that file's properties although it says BITMAP, looking into its advanced properties, it shows up as a TIFF and Access doesn't recognize TIFF's.

Any ideas how I can get this to save as a .BMP? I saw that you can specify the filetype, anyone know the correct syntax because I can't get it right.

imgEdit1.SaveAs "E:\Pictures" & LTrim(Left([LicenseNumber], 13)) & ".bmp"

I changed the extension to .jpg and it works now. What a day!

imgEdit1.SaveAs "E:\Pictures" & LTrim(Left([LicenseNumber], 13)) & ".jpg"
