I read that Access saves the formatting of a report (ie. margins and landscape vs. portrait).

Sometimes it remembers them and sometimes it does not.

The database is used by several people and I need to ensure that when someone opens a report it is brought up in the correct format.

Is there a more forceful way to ensure that Access remembers the formatting of my reports?

Any suggestions?

iirc, you can create a report template... & use it - it should load the same for everyone that way, no?

sorry i can't be of more help, but meh, i'm canadian too.:p:D

Hi there,

Make sure that the Option "Auto Correction" (I think thats what it is in the English Version) is turned off. (Options - General)

For some reason this sets the Margins back to the Standard Format if turned on!

I am pasting a reply of Pat Hartman's to another post here for completeness.

If you find that your report orientation changes, it is because of an Access bug. To eliminate the problem, go into Tools/Options and turn off all the Name AutoCorrect options.
