Hello guys,

I have come accross an error on access 2007... it might be due to the security settings on my pc, but I have messed around with everything and I still cant get it to work!

The importing function within access 2007 is not working for me, I get the following error when using the wizard, after I select the excel file I want to import:
"Because of your security settings and current security policy, this control is disabled. To modify your policy and enable the database use the Message Bar."

1. There is no message or message bar.
2. Within trust center I have enabled "Show the message bar in all applications when content has been blocked"
3. I have added the folder where any dabatase is found to trusted location.
4. I have compressed and repaired the databse but still happens..
5. this happens on any datbase, new or old.

any help would be mega appreciated...
I have spent tons of hours creating this work management database.. now im finished and trying to import the work, and it wont work!!

Help!!!!

Is there any chance you can move a copy of your database over to another computer and test it on there? I would recommend logging into the other computer with Admin rights before testing, this narrows it down to whether it is database or computer related.

that is a good shout!

I will do that!

If its computer related im still in trouble tho!

Every file works on my pc at home, which must mean there is a problem with the pc,
anybody know what it could be?
