I need to send emails though Outlook 2003 from Access 2003 (created in Access 2007) and running Access Runtime 2007.
I am testing using SendObject from Access, and all is fine if the email is to be edited prior to sending, but if not, then a pop-up comes up about "an application using Item.Send blah blah" yes or no. This is just for testing for now, later on I am planning on opening an Outlook object from Access - that may or may not behave differently. Update: Just tested and still get the popup :-(
I am not sure about how to resolve this, since two different methods of dealing with security seem at play here.
1. Is this resolvable - so mails can be sent from Access via Outlook without human interaction, with my current configuration?
2. If so, how?
Update 2: Once I made a similar application, sending emails via Outlook2003 from Access 2003, and did not have any issue with this pop-up. So ...
