Hi -

My work computer has just been migrated to a new network and as such path to my desktop has changed because may network login name has changed. That said, I have an access database on my desktop (dev environment) and now that the path has changed the link between my front end and the DB is broken. Problem is, when I log into the front end and click on the "Link Table Manager" to update the patch I get the following error:

"Because of your security settings and current security policy, this control is disabled. To modify your policy and enable the database, use the Message Bar"

However the Message Bar isn't appearing. I've gone into the Trust Centre and made my entire C:\ drive (including subfolders) a trusted location, but it's still not working. I also added the exact folder that the database (front and back end) are in as a trusted location....

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

* Don't make your entire C drive trusted. Trust only the directory + subfolders trusted.
* Check with your Sys Admins to ensure that they've given you FULL rights on the folder where your database resides.
