I appreciate there have been a few of these threads knocking around, and ive spent a morning reading them, and going through my Access Book!
Essentially what I want to do is allow one type of user to have full access rights to the db, and anothe rtype of user to only have read only. I have created myself a login form, which prompts the user for a password, and then takes them to relevant form depenant on who they are. However it is very easy to break out of and start editing data.
Is there any simple way of adding this functionality, or does it have to be done through the dreaded workgroup thingy?
