I have a table, namely Burnt DVDs (Movies/TV Series).
It has 3 fields of data, namely Title, Release Date and Comment(which has the data type, Memo).
I also have a form, namely Burnt DVDs (Movies/TV Series) Search Who Loaned DVD that is linked to a select query. The query filters the records based on whatever I enter in the form. It filters the Comment field.
This is the code I used in the Criteria field...
What I want is whenever I enter only a portion of text, it should return the results regardless of wherever the text is in the field.
For example, one of the fields has...
'This is a reboot to the original 'Spider-Man'. Tasha borrowed this.'
Another one of the fields has...
'Tasha borrowed this.'
When I enter 'Tasha', it returns no data.
But when I enter 'Tasha borrowed this.' It returns data for only the fields that have...
'Tasha borrowed this.'
I am aware of the 'LIKE' and '**'. But no matter how I used it, it doesn't work. Probably I'm doing it wrong.
Can someone help, please?
