I need to build a query that concatenates the values in my table as follows:

The table:

• monkey
• horse
• pelican
• zebra

The query output:

• monkeymonkey
• monkeyhorse
• monkeypelican
• monkeyzebra
• horsemonkey
• horsehorse
• horsepelican
• horsezebra
• pelicanmonkey
• pelicanhorse
• pelicanpelican
• pelicanzebra
• zebramonkey
• zebrahorse
• zebrapelican
• zebrazebra

I thought the following would do the trick, but it didnt ...
SELECT table.animal & (SELECT table.animal FROM table) FROM table;

I get an error that says that the subquery max. has 1 record
