I believe the local/network SendUsing setting refers to where the emails are managed rather than whether you are on a standalone PC or connected to a network. Perhaps if you use Exchange Server the value should be 1?? I normally need to use SendUsing=2.

BTW although you can also use CDO to send HTML emails and include inline images, many email apps now block such images by default.
