set date as Null

How do you set a date variable as null?!?

ie dim startdate as date

startdate = null

????

You cannot. Only Variants can be Null.

Well thats why I cannot set them to null. will set to a fictious date... thanks.

you can set a date to 0 (dim intialises to zero)

you can set a field/control to null


date 0, is a date in 1899.
