set filter via como box

hi guys, i need to be able to sort the whole set of data from a query, by selcting a value from a combo box. i have about 900 records with 5 different status options.

i found this guy on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khndDXtFC7I&feature=relmfu but he has an entry field, and i need a drop down box to filer my data :banghead:

the set filter macro doesnt seem to work..
any ideas at all?
