I have a bound form (which is used to enter data) and want to format some textboxes as currency. I see that there is a "format" property for the textbox, but I can't figure out how to set it to currency.

Thank you!

Select Currency from the drop down box on Format options

Select Currency from the drop down box on Format options
The dropdown box doesn't contain any options.

Is the table field format set to Currency?

Is the form bound directly to the Table?

Open the form on its own and see what happens then

Like Rich said, set the Currency on each of the textboxes you would like formatted as Currency.

Select the text box on the form, go to Format tab in the properties and under that you will find Format. Select Currency there.

Did you see my post? Did you open the subform on its own, not inside the form as Rich said? Can you post a screenshot of what you're doing?

This is on a subform (since it is not part of the main form) on the tab, correct?

Copy the form on its own and save it with a new name, try it then

The problem was that the datatype for the field was a "bigInt". I changed it to "float" and now everything works.
Thank you!
