Set number of rows in detail section of report (1 Viewer)

HI,

I have a report that needs to have 13 rows in the detail section of the report, with a report header and footer. My problem is that sometimes there will only be a couple of rows of data in the recordset, hence I am only getting two rows in my detail section.

Is there a way to get around this so that if I don't have 13 rows on my report that the rows can be added but be left blank??? I thought maybe open a copy of the recordset in the onOpen event and try and add the amount of rows needed, but I haven't tried that yet and not even sure if it is possible.

I've followed up on my last idea and have got a copy of a recordset that contains exactly the data i need for the report (ie: blanks rows for the last rows of the recordset) but I can't assign the recordset as the recordset of the report when it opens.

Is this possible???
