I have developed an application for a friend. We live about 100 miles apart in the UK. The database (Access 2007) works perfectly for us, I input data from various sources and he views the reports I've designed that show him exactly what he wants to see.

Now I want to move to the next phase which is I enter data from my PC at home and he then views the reports on his PC at his home.

Any advice on how I can do this, at low cost,

There are lots of ways to do this. The no-cost way (beyond an Internet connection) is to input the data, compact and repair the DB, zip it, and send it to him. A better alternative is to put the source table (or tables) in their own DB, place that DB on a server you both have access to (get a .co.uk or whatever website), and then link to the tables from both your computer and his.

Hi Moniker.........thank you so much for the advice, I like the sound of the second opton you describe, I've already got a website, via 1and1, never used it though, just bought it a few months ago. Can you advise how I would do what you've proposed.

Best regards
Frank
