Shocking news about UtterAccess owner

There is the other side of that coin... if we publish too much about the case, someone in a dark suit, matching hat, and big sunglasses will come by to ask you some questions. They will be from Division 6 and will categorically deny having any sense of humor.

They already have enough on Jack. If they troll here it would be to find out if anyone else was involved with Jack.

After 45 years Doc, I got stories. Can't tell them, but I got them. I know those guys by name.

Besides if I posted the chat log you'd probably throw-up. 🤮
No thanks, i'm already discusted enough as it is. If he's guilty as charged, let the full weight of the Law fall upon him.

The litigation is only a few months old. Probably wont reach trial for another year if it gets that far. From just the little info I read there's a good chance he'll look for a deal. These cases can drag out when you have forensic experts to challenge their experts, psych experts for mitigation, etc.
Maybe he's planning on claiming insanity? However, because of the severity of this case, they would lock him up in a nut house and throw away the key.

The guys to whom I was referring usually just give their initials. And they will offer the opinion that THEY make the black suits look good. ;)

You've been watching too many MIB movies. Stick with the Transformers Sector 7 outfit. I think the Feds already know everything there is to know about Jack and anyone else associated with his criminal activities. They have some really good forensic tools for gathering and analyzing relevant information and when they announce an indictment, it's because they have done their due diligence. This is not a high profile case where they're going to spend unlimited money on it. Two years worth of surveillance and research easily costs millions. This is going to be a slam dunk open and shut case. That's all.

Is it even POSSIBLE to watch too many MIB movies?
Yes, I have seen the three MIB movies over 20 times, and counting. You'd be surprised how many little details I have picked up from watching a movie over and over again.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. While I agree from what I've seen, there is still a long road ahead.
Take for instance all the cases in NJ under Habba have now been thrown into turmoil. If convictions get tossed will re-trials be barred by double jeopardy? We had tens of thousands of drug convictions dismissed in Ma. due to 2 drug lab techs messing up. Nothings ever a slam dunk.

Yes, there's always the possibility of prosecution losing the case, e.g. inadmissible evidence, entrapment, hung jury, Donald Trump is the defendant, etc.

I read the unredacted indictment, it's awful. According to Pacer, he's not out on bail. Probably because he's a flight risk.

Looks like trial is scheduled for the November 2025 term.

I think he's still held. I don't have it with me, but the scheduling order was pretty tight with short compliance dates. When someone is held they generally try to move the case along quickly. If they're out there's no real hurry.

It's so sad, really. From all angles, in my opinion. Any kids that were harmed....society that has to deal with and pay for this case......and the person at the center of it, cursed with an obsession he simply could not shed and more than likely often wished he didn't have. I didn't care for his personality online that I could perceive, but I'm not uncaring as to people who are afflicted thus and cannot seem to snap out of it. It's hard to think of anything good coming of this case, but I hope the right outcome is had.

(I know, I know, now somebody is going to come along and claim Isaac is a pedo lover just b/c I showed an ounce of sympathy for the plight but I don't really give a rat's ass what you think about me - I feel sorry for all persons afflicted with objectionable obsessions, from murder to arson to pedo and everything in between).

We all have our weaknesses. Mine is food. Which is why I now have fatty liver, but I've been on a diet and kept up exercise. I've certainly lost at least 40 pounds from my highest body weight and I'm shooting for more than that - but slowly. The point here is that whatever our weakness, it is a life-long reality to try to avoid giving in to your demon. Self-control can be difficult. I was never into alcohol, drugs, smoking, or sexual oddities, but I still had a powerful demon called voracious hunger.

I never knew Jack but I had a friend who got into trouble for NSFW browsing while on the clock at work. He didn't understand that his IT group could identify sites he had visited, because his browser might have been a no-trace browser, but his router logged outbound destinations pretty well. Those unwise urges can hit us all, and I have some sympathy for folks who have particularly tough demons to face. However, in the end analysis, you have to come to peace with your demons. What is it that Christians say? You have to make peace with your personal god. It happens to be true for the demons, too.

Yes, it's sad that some people suffer mental disorders and unwilling or unable to get help. I recently heard from Simon Wolf, who created athree.com and later handed it over to Gord, who rebranded it to UA and enjoyed a huge success. When Gord retired from UA, he handed it over to Jack.

There's a huge continuity problem with any forum, website, Access application, or any other product, when there's only one owner in control, and no other admins who have full access to the data and the source code. If something happens to the owner, the object is doomed if no one else can rescue it. UA had a huge valuable knowledgebase and code repository.

Does AWF have others who can rescue it?
