Well, I don't agree with that. Records are not available, thus data is not available, but controls certainly are.

Bound controls are not yet fully available because the underlying records are not ready for display. However, pretty much everything is available in Form_Load.

Well, now I don't know what qualifies as being "fully available" because you can, for example, set focus if the control can take it.
But it doesn't matter. Your blanket statement wasn't accurate and that's all I'm trying to say - and with all due respect because sometimes I think the knowledge you possess about many 'systems' things is very extensive and impressive.
