Show that a record has been deleted

Hi All,

Is there an easy way to show that a record has been deleted (besides "audit trail")?

for example:

if record_id 2 was deleted, the fields can show "deleted"

If it has been deleted then it is not there so you cannot set the fields to show deleted.

So you must prevent the record from being deleted and update the fields accordingly..... or

prevent the record being deleted and have an extra filed at for Deleted with values of Yes or No (default)

You need then to ensure that only Non Deleted (N) records are included within any query.

So an easy way......Nope

I think I will add a MSG box to ask "are you sure you want to delete?" Then save the record to a table called DeleteHistory....then delete the orginal.
