simple but complex expression

I am trying to enter an expression that simply counts the amount of records in myTable where the value in the company field is equal to the company name on the report and where the value of [1stDate] in myTable is equal to [bicompleted] in myTable. Here is my expression that produces an error:

=DCount("[id]","tblGetPendingPercentage","[company] = reports!rptContractorsIncomplete_byVendor_summary![company] and (tblGetPendingPercentage.[1stDateRecvd]) = (tblGetPendingPercentage.[bicompleted])")

Please somebody help me.

thanks anyway .. but I figured it out. The expression works now:

=DCount("[id]","tblGetPendingPercentage","[1stDateRecvd] = [bicompleted] AND ([company] = reports!rptContractorsIncomplete_byVendor_summary![company])")
