It makes sense - but Cols posts dont contain anything that is anti anything that is British.

The opposite is true. Which is why I reckon Col interpreted it as I suggest.

ie His posts mostly contain anything that is anti anything that is ANTI British.

It was a bad English attempt at a double negative wasnt it? Two antis doesnt make an uncle? It makes a double negative.

I had absolutely no idea that a theme was discernible in my posts, least of all anything
that is anti British or anti anti British ( please choose which ever one you feel applies ).

As far as I can recollect I never even saw any threads that were overtly anti or anti anti British.

There are , as we all know, posts here that are anti American, and I read those avidly, but for no reason other than I like to see the views of others on the USA. And why not, love her or loathe her, she is a force to contend with.......as to whether good or bad is purely a matter of opinion.

As it happens, I have an extremely comfortable lifestyle. I have just bought myself a new Bentley , for example. But I spent several hours late last night on my iPad just trying to find the cheapest Calvin Klein " Obsession " after shave that I could buy ! Oh, and the pleasure when I found it !

Not wishing to describe myself as " intelligent " , since that would be presumptuous, I do at least know that if academic qualifications are any guide, then I am, at the very least, moderately gifted in the I.Q. stakes. That being so, then your above comment should really
read " First thing you have said that I AGREE WITH ".

Thus it follows that, if I am intelligent ( or at least " academically gifted " ), and you, in fact, only agree with 1 out of 59 of my comments, then empirically, you are very likely NOT to be so gifted ?

Extrapolating your comment further, and considering it forensically, I'd hazard a guess that you are an American since you rush to support my remark as to the USA needing a fair crack of the whip. Nothing wrong with that, amigo, since, after all, you had no choice as to where you were born, but if I am not correct,
then the tenor of your comment does support my contention that Americans are unduly sensitive about being American, and tend to rush to her defence at the slightest of provocations. This could be regarded as admirable, but it does tend to indicate a level of guilt, uncertainty and lack of confidence in your country.

I added the caveat IMHO, you think you are intelligent but, I yet to see any empirical data or evidence other than your boasting. I suspect you will tell us you’re a Mensa member next.
I do not hide the fact I am an American. If you exam my "Location" you may get a clue of where I reside. I am a registered Independent if that helps.

I don't participate in this forum because it provides me with an opportunity to boast, since one would have to be a very poor specimen of humanity to do that.

Secondly, just how feeble minded would one have to be in order to to seek to demonstrate or indicate the level of ones intelligence, since I could no more prove mine than you could disprove it.

Moreover, I am entirely ambivalent as to what nationality you are, or indeed as to what status or standing you have. I don't say this to be offensive, merely because it is of no interest or relevance to me. If I were to wish to judge you at all, it would be on the basis of how you respond to others and the contribution
you make to a forum in which I have chosen to participate. In respect of the latter, it is obvious to me that this forum is significantly the better for your participation than that of others ( who shall remain nameless ). At least you appear to be both dispassionate and coolly logical, both qualities of which I find to be thoroughly admirable.

B. a narcissist and being unaware of same.

Mmmmm ? There really is no contest, is there ? Surely being a knowing or unknowing narcissist is infinitely better than being a jackass in any circumstances ? Unless one is both happy and content with being a jackass, perhaps ?

I'm pleased that you are happy with your lot in life. Not many of us can say that, least of all myself, and it is this that drives me to try and live life to the full.....hence my experiences
( or fantasies as they are referred to here by others ). It is my lust for life, added to a healthy bank account , that fulfills my desires and ambitions.
