Sorry for simple question

I am sure this will be an easy one but I am trying to teach myself database design on my own. I searched for what I was looking for but could not find it.

I am going to build a basic DB of all my DVD's. It will include title, UPC, director, year... It will also have a field for actor/actress so I can run a query for say Jessica Alba, and all the movies she is in will be listed. The question is this:

I create a field for actor but I want the ability to add multiple actors for each DVD, never knowing the number of actors each movie will have. One might have 3 listed and one might have 10. Is what I am describing possible or do I need to have some other table listed for actors.

Eventually I plan to put this DB online so my friends can go to my web page, browse my listings, do queries to find specific titles and such. I figured this would be a good project to learn all about DB's and their use online.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for good learning books for both these topics, I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Have you seen the sample "Video Collection" db in Access? It does say "VideoTapes" but I'm sure, with just a little effort and tweaking, you could change the name to DVD's. Add a "Director" field to the "Video Programs" table and you should be all set.
I guess I should have added: I am using 97 and the "Video Programs" db is in the "New", "Databases" tab.

Actually I have Office XP and I didnt find the video DB in the templates. I will search online for it as well. But just for the case in any DB development, is it possible to have a data field accept multiple data streams and keep adding it to some kind of list? Something that can be searched through for queries?
