HOW TO FIND THE PATH FOR SOURCE TABLE? I am trying to edit the table. but i am getting error saying" Linked table. Cant be modified". so i would like to edit the source table. But I dont know how to find where is the Source table? Please help me...

If you go to the access file, and on the tabs there should be one called 'External Data'--> look for 'Linked table Manager'.. Once you click it, it will show the list of tables linked with the current Access file.. with their location..

Thanks for your suggestion. I did the same as u metioned. And I opened the file where those files are there in the metioned path,.But still i cant edit. Its saying the same error...

you can add new rows to a linked table
but you cannot change the design of a linked table - to add new fields, or change attributes of those fields
to do that, you need to open the actual database that contains the linked table - and you ought to know where that is.
